While these seeds produce delicious seedless fruit, a little secret to success is needed. You'll need both our seedless F1 watermelon seeds and our seeded pollenizer variety to ensure pollination and fruit set.

Planting Tips:

• Warm weather lover: Watermelons thrive in warm conditions. Sow seeds directly into the ground after the last frost.
• Timing is everything: Planting times vary depending on your climate:
  • Temperate: October - November
  • Subtropical: September - November
  • Tropical: April - July
• Soil matters: Prepare well-drained, fertile soil with a pH of 6-6.5 for optimal growth.
• Germination: Sow seeds 10-20mm deep and maintain a soil temperature of 21-35°C for best germination (5-14 days).
• Get a head start: For cooler climates, consider starting seeds indoors using a bottom heat mat.

Caring for Your Watermelon:

• Spacing: Allow ample space for vines to spread. Plant seeds or seedlings approximately 1-2 meters apart.
• Watering: Watermelons need consistent moisture, especially during flowering and fruit development. Deep watering is preferred to frequent shallow watering.
• Pest and disease control: Monitor plants for common pests like aphids, cucumber beetles, and spider mites. Use organic pest control methods like insecticidal soap or neem oil. Prevent diseases like powdery mildew by avoiding overhead watering.
