Manuka Honey Tea Tree Seeds - Leptospermum scoparium
Native to Australia and New Zealand, the Manuka Honey Tea Tree is a compact, evergreen shrub known for its ornamental appeal and aromatic leaves, which release a fresh, pleasant scent when crushed. Young leaves often have a silver-hairy appearance, adding texture to the plant.
This rounded, twiggy bush produces an abundance of white or pink-tinged flowers in late spring and early summer, attracting bees. The flowers are followed by small, woody capsules that persist long after the petals have fallen, adding further visual interest.
The Manuka Honey Tea Tree grows up to 2.4 m (8 feet) tall and spreads 1.8–3 m (6–10 feet) wide. Its fresh, pungent leaves can be used to brew a delightful tea.
