🌱 How to Grow Garlic Chives

When to Sow (Australia)

  • Temperate/Cold Climates: Early Spring to Late Autumn
  • Subtropical/Tropical Climates: Year-round (avoid peak summer heat)

  • Full sun (at least 6 hours daily)
  • Can be grown in garden beds or containers (minimum 10L)

🌿 Soil Preparation

  • Use well-draining soil enriched with compost or aged manure
  • For pots, use a premium potting mix
  • Weed the area thoroughly and keep it clear during early growth

🌾 Sowing Instructions

  • Seed Depth: 8mm
  • Spacing: 15cm apart in rows 15cm apart
  • Germination Time: 14–21 days
  • Ideal Soil Temp: 15–21°C

Tips:
