Growing Information:
· Cold Stratification: Soak seeds for 24 hrs, mix with moist seed-raising mix, and refrigerate for 10-12 weeks. Alternatively, sow in late autumn for natural stratification.
· Sowing & Germination: Sow 3mm deep in organic soil, keep in bright, indirect light at 15-20°C (60-70°F). Cover with plastic wrap for moisture. Germination takes 6-12 weeks.
· Seedling Care: Gradually introduce seedlings to sunlight. Transplant at 3 inches tall into slightly acidic soil (pH 6.0-7.0). Keep potted through first winter, fertilize monthly.
· Transplanting & Fruiting: Move outdoors after last frost, spacing 1.5m (5ft) apart. Maintain soil acidity, water well in summer. Plants die back in winter but regrow in spring. Fruits in 2nd year.
